We had a great meal in Scampo. Extensive menu with lots of really interesting taste options and combinations. Excellent food quality. Friendly efficient service. Highly recommended.

Went to Scampo for dinner for NYE and was very impressed. The service and food were top notch. Definitely worth the money and will be back.

This place is in the basement of the "jail". Bustling with awesome crowd. Great conversations over deciduous food and perfect cocktails. Lots of romance happening here..

Our reserved table was ready for us even on a very busy Friday night. The service was great--fast and our server checked in with us frequently. I most appreciated her detailed knowledge of the menu and individual dishes--love it when a server shares his/her fave...More

Booked for Thanksgiving. Granted it was busy! Walked in with two women at reception. Seated on time, if there was a place to leave coats no one volunteered that information so I ate with my coat draped on my chair. I’ll comment on the turkey,...More

We have dined here several times and have always loved this place. This past Saturday we were a bit disappointed by some aspects of the meal. First, it was way too loud. Talking was nearly nearly impossible. The server could not speak loudly enough for...More

The food was decent; however, the service was not. I️ went to Scampo with a group tonight. It was a birthday dinner and the dessert they serviced for the birthday was a nice presentation but not comped like every other restaurant, which is fine but...More

The Mozzarella tasting with the Naan bread was to die for, the rest was good but this menu item was great and very memorable.

The food was good (although the beet risotto was disappointing). The service was unbearable. Not only an extremely rude waiter but also staff members obsessed with taking the dishes away when we’re far from finishing. Also, it’s very noisy. Hard to talk. The Liberty hotel...More

We dined at Scampo while staying at The Liberty for our anniversary. The food and service were both great and the ambiance was lively yet refined. Take advantage of one of The Liberty’s great bars before your reservation (and definitely make one!)

Description
The stunning first floor restaurant in Boston’s Liberty Hotel, Scampo, is a culinary destination created by legendary chef Lydia Shire and The Lyons Group in April of 2008. In Scampo, Shire’s reputation for defying tradition translates into Italian-inspired cuisine unrestrained by borders, drawing on flavors from the Mediterranean and Middle East. Scampo is a reflection of Chef Shire: bold, red and full of energy. The contemporary space features shiny copper lanterns, a glowing orange bar and seating overlooking the mozzarella bar.
