It is a small cafe located right by Boston Common. I have tried a couple of their wraps and they all have been amazing; my favorite one, portobello chicken with extra hummus. The prices were very reasonable considering that it is located in Boston. Wraps can be between 6-8 dollars. I think it is worth to give it a try.

Never try it again. Very rude and unpleasant staff. I didn't get what i ordered. Totally disappointing place. It was the worst cafe I've ever tried.

This cafe is located right outside the T/Subway station and so convenient. They have wraps, paninis and falafels. We ordered the Dr Goat panini, the Chicken Kafka, and the Falafel wrap and a chocolate milkshake for our party all for $28! Very tasty, fast service and smoke seating. Hit the spot!!

This was a totally random selection, we were making our way to the food trucks, and decided it was too hot to keep walking and too hot to eat outside. The Black Seed is located at the north eastern corner on Boston Commons park. It is an order at the counter low cost, informal restaurant. We ordered Falafel plates and... More

Popped in here for wrap for lunch and excellent service - wide choice but I went for a chicken wrap and it was delicious. The falafel looked good and the tahini and salad all fresh . Freshly prepared, chicken tasty and a great stop near Boston Common . If you want a decent lunch , at a decent price $... More

This place is located on Tremont St, near Boston downtown crossing. When one enters, this place doesn't look like much. It's small, cozy place with basic tables and walk up ordering in a regular location. Just as your average breakfast and lunch sandwich shop. But I must admit that food is delicious. The food is always cooked to order and... More

We were looking for pretty much anything to eat after three hours waiting for / watching the 4th of July flireworks. Just when we'd almost given up, we saw the lights on at Blackseed. For how hectic and busy they were, the staff were friendly and the falafel wrap was really, really good. Cheap eats with fresh veggies, herbs and... More

I loved this place! One of the best vegetarian burgers I've ever had. And it was really cheap comparing to other places - 7 dollars for a big burger and a lot of fries. Mhmmm... Wish I lived in Boston ;-).

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
