Very tiny corner sandwich shop serving up some delicious classics. I arrived solo just before they opened at 7:30a and there was already a line of 5 people outside. There are only 4 stools inside so plan on taking out to eat elsewhere (don't worry - a walk back to hotel and my cheese sandwich was still hot and melty!)... More

Hidden away on a corner street in Boston is this tiny place. Very little space to eat in but it's main business is take out. It is a little pricey but the food is really good and staff as always friendly. We visited for breakfast and it does really fill a gap. Your food is made and cooked in front... More

I had a the Fancy sandwich and it was divine! One of the best sandwiches I've ever had. The wait was not too long the only problem was that they had no seating which it didn't bother me much after tasting the food.

I walked at 1:35 and had my sandwich ready in under 5 minutes. I hungry and was buying something just for a quick bite. The Fancy as the sandwich is called turned out to be a gustatory adventure. It was remarkably good with many really flavorful and complementary flavors. 10/10 would eat there again!

This was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. The taste was perfect, the bread, the combination.. I love it and want to have it more. The queue was long, though. I at the end ordered online. But it worth the wait. The price was very reasonable (cheap!) for the quality and taste.

Terrible! I had to wait 40 minutes for an egg sandwich. Never again. They take all these online orders and you're stuck out in the cold waiting for yours. The set up is redicilous. Then they get an attitude when you ask why its taking so long.

On a quiet corner in a neighborhood not far from Boston Common, Mike & Patty's is bustling. With only three or so seats, you go into the restaurant one or two at a time, then go back outside to wait for your food. Delicious, unique breakfast sandwiches and friendly service. I had the Fancy, which was fantastic, and would love... More

My friend and I stopped here for breakfast while visiting Boston. TINY shop (walk down the street to a small park to eat) but worth the wait and good sized portions. Order the Fancy and the Goldmine and you're set!

Delicious breakfast sandwich. We took ours to go. Not really anywhere to eat inside. Cute location in downtown neighborhood.

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
