Boston's food scene is certainly world class, and once you have enjoyed your fresh lobster as a visitor, one looks deeper into what Boston's chefs have "cooked up". Barbara Lynch's Menton is one of those wonderful experiences that make you want to go back again...More

We dined at Menton to celebrate a wedding anniversary (we've lost count how many years!). Every single aspect of the experience was outstanding, beginning with maitre d' Danny, who was like a symphony conductor with the appropriate combination of expertise, flourish and warmth. The meal...More

When the menu includes something called the "Chef's Whim," pay attention and go with her whim. I've dined here twice and they have certainly been among the most memorable meals of my life. Everything is excellent: the food, the service, the ambiance. If you go...More

Menton’s presentation and quality seems to have gone downhill. This is my sixth time eating the chef’s menu. I felt that only one dish was unique, several were interesting and solid but the qualities that made this a must visit restaurant with uniquely interesting, innovative...More

We recently went to Menton for our anniversary. Very romantic and wonderful dining experience. We did have to wait for our table even though we had a reservation. Staff a little haughty. Food was incredible and innovative. Overall a great experience and would highly recommend...More

Up there with the best meals I have ever experienced. The service and the choreography of the waitstaff were beyond impressive. You are paying for an incredibly high end evening and they deliver in spades. It's wonderful to experience a business that knows how to...More

We were in Boston for a show and decided to have a special dinner out as well. Super attentive staff and amazing dishes. Definitely plan for at least 4 courses (with bread) from the menu. Portions are small but amazing quality. Overall, I would go...More

Went for the first time. Pretty spectacular presentations of the meals. My wife was appalled I wanted to take pictures (first time in years). The portions are small but my wife would argue just right and why do I feel I need to take doggie...More

Excellent service. Ambiance is fine . Food was very good, but I did not think exceptional. They do try to add some small goodies along the way. Parking is expensive $21 unless you get really lucky on the street.

Say business casual, but although people were smartly dressed most men with jackets took them off.

I don't think jackets are "required" but it's definitely a dressy place . Not uber formal , but I wouldn't recommend even smart designer jeans . On the two occasions I've been there , guys all in smart shirts , most wear... More

Menton, Chef Barbara Lynch's Fort Point fine dining restaurant, is the final concept to complete her Fort Point trifecta and joins neighbors Sportello and Drink. Located in FP3, the AIA award-winning luxury condominium complex, Menton radiates an understated elegance and offers several beautiful spaces to dine including the 60-seat dining room, a 12-seat Chef's Table, and the 45-seat private dining room. The restaurant, a glamorous expression of fine dining, was designed by Cheryl and Jeffrey Katz of C&J Katz and features a subtle palette of grays with touches of silver and black. The cuisine of Menton displays the talent for precision and visual artistry across two seasonal tasting menus and a la carte selections for dinner daily, and a more casual a la carte menu for lunch Monday - Friday.
