For such an expensive restaurant, the service should have been better. Slow, not responsive to the request for a glass of water, even after asking 4 times-to the waitress and the water server! The best of our choices was the lobster popover-absolutely delicious-other than that the rest of the meals were okay.

We were part of a large e group (party of 17) dining mid week so the size of our party may have impacted the experience. Service was attentive at the start and later trailed off. Beef short ribs with pappardelle was tasty but not hot. Attribute cool dinner to kitchen needing to get many plates out at once. Maple sugar... More

We were in town for Patriot’s Day weekend. We looked up bars with nice craft cocktail menu and decided on The Towne. We got there around 7 and the place was fairly quiet but looked like it got hit by a tornado. Behind the bar were just piles of dirty glasses. The exhausted bartender took some time to get to... The steak was terrible. Mine was under cooked and my husbands was way too done. The side dishes were lacking in taste.

We came here for brunch on a Sunday and were pleasantly surprised by the prices and the food! Extremely reasonable for downtown Boston and a great selection of entrees. Most in our group had the lobster eggs benedict (only $15!!!) and loved it. Fresh donuts were brought to our table while we waited for our entrees. The Bloody Mary's were... More

Very good food, nice surroundings, and superb service. We were a group of six, and every one was happy with their meal. Good wines, good oysters, good steaks, very good in all aspects. I was invited so thankfully I did not have to worry about the price ....

Visited this restaurant while in Boston over weekend and really enjoyed it. The breakfast was delicious but my favorite part was the hot chocolate with huge marshmallows. It was made in house and was perfect. I can't wait to visit again

Was here for a fairly large (10-12) group business dinner. Physical appearance of the restaurant is trendy/dark/upscale. Food was good, but service was lacking. Took forever to finally take our order and once ordered, entrees took a fair bit too long after appetizers were finished. The wierdest thing was that they had background music playing that felt like they had... More

Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
