Nice selection of menu items. Friendly service who provides spot on recommendations on menu items. Mac and Cheese and Fondue were big hits. As was the Lobster roll

Stopped in for a bowl of soup for a late lunch. The clam chowder was great. The service was excellent, couldn't have been treated better by Anthony. He also gave us some great tips about attending the Red Sox game at Fenway.

We dined at Anthem on Saturday night for dinner. The service was very good and the food was tasty. I would recommend the cheese fondue as that looked great. We got the meat board and it was OK. Flounder was tasty and the fried twinkle was delicious. Coffee not so good as it was cold and old but we would... More

We stopped here for lunch. The menu has much to offer. I opted for one of the creative burgers and it was excellent! The place is bright, clean and the service was friendly. It was a good spot to retreat from the Faneuil Hall crowds. Check it out... :0)

We had a wonderful time at Anthem. We had a beautiful view of Faneuil Hall and Quincy Market and really enjoyed our meal. All 5 of us ordered differently and we all left very satisfied. The service was also excellent!

The restaurant has a warm and inviting feel to it. Located at Quincy Market. We sat on the 2nd floor at a window seat giving us a great view of the happenings at Faneuil Hall. Great Beer selection. My wife had the mussels appetizer they were very fresh and meaty and a large portion. I had a burger. The service... More

I happened to be at Quincy Market and really wanted to sit down in a quieter environment. I found Anthem and was delighted. They served a simple, ample and good lobster sandwich and it was warm enough for me to sit outside in their open area. What a delight. Great staff, nice touches on food and drink... and much quieter... More

The space, fronting on the plaza between Faneuil Hall and Quincy Market, is terrific and the outdoor tables look to be an ideal summer spot. The menu is varied and appealing. If only our results had been as attractive. Some dishes got raves, others were tremendous duds (worst veggie burger ever). Some items were piping hot, other cold (and when... More

Had dinner on St. Patrick's day and had a nice time. Very crowded, as were all bars on this day. Service was good as were the drinks and the meat loaf was amazing. I really need to find this recipe. Only disappointment was the Sheppard's pie. We had about a half inch if meat and veggies and a huge bowl... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
