We ordered soup and dumplings for starters followed by Red Thai mock duck curry and tamarind mock chicken. Unfortunately they delivered all of the food at the same time. After eating our starters the rest was luke warm. The red Thai curry didn't taste like any Thai curry we had before which was disappointing. The mock duck and chicken weren't... More

I don't give 5 stars because there is room for overall improvement (more in the decor and overall organization of the place). The food deserve 10 stars! Is so good you don't even know you aren't eating meat. The service is great and quick. If you are in Boston don't miss this spot. So delicious and conscious. Bravo!

Had a great lunch here. They have a big variety of dishes. The food was really good. The service is fast, but a little bit unclear: it was really hard to understand them, and to make them understand us... The decoration is cozy, but a little bit unorganized and not 100% clean. Anyway, the experience was really good, and it... More

I have eaten at My Thai twice and sampled a number of their dishes. The very tasty sauces make each dish unique and excellent. The imitation meat is surprisingly similar to real meat. The bubble tea in numerous flavors with tapioca beads on the bottom is a fun drink. Service was very good, and the ambiance was really nice: on... More

After a recent tour of Boston's Chinatown, my daughter and I were happy to find this one place in the area that caters to vegetarians and vegans. We really enjoyed the Golden Triangles and the Curry Vermicelli and hope to be back to try many more of the options on the great menu. A bonus is the second floor setting... More

Never been to an all Vegan restaurant before so quite a novelty. Really wide menu to choose from - must have been nearly 200 dishes available. No beer or wine sadly but plenty of bubble teas and healthy things like coconut water! Family worked hard to service us well and quickly. Worth a visit.

Have reviewed My Thai before and food was good, but place needed much clean up, including menus, the room, the stairway etc...and I was surprised when we walked in last night that all had been done! The place was quite crowded and I can only think it was because of returning students and the new "neighbors", all the many wealthy... More

This place has everything to do with authenticity. With great food at very reasonable prices, it gives you a good run for your money. However, don't go there expecting a lot of cleanliness or fine dining. It is a super casual place, but totally worth it.

From the Internet it all seems very welcoming, but "blue collar" Thai is at the 2nd floor of a really shady building, especially if you visit after dark. However! While entering the place, a warm welcoming of what seems to be a family business awaits for visitors. The menu includes more than a 100 dishes and the prices are mid-range.... More

Staying in Chinatown

Neighbourhood Profile
Chinatown
A small area rich in Chinese cultural influences, visit Boston’s Chinatown for some great Asian cuisine and small, authentic bakeries. Enter through the iconic Chinatown gate and stroll down Beach, Tyler, and Kneeland streets to explore the compact area. Rest your feet from walking and grab a bite at one of the many restaurants around Chinatown. From traditional Chinese to Vietnamese to Malaysian, there is a wide range of Asian food available, within easy access of South Station. At night, Chinatown becomes a late night food destination after the bars close.
