too many tables crammed together. Service was okay, nothing more. Food was good with emphasis on the' little ' of little plates.

Pricey for the area but well worth it. For 2 people cost around $100 (all included..2 wines only). Eat outside which was nice & weather good. Music inside makes it loud.

Tres Gatos is locted in Jamaica Plain. The unassuming front of the restarant doesn't reveal the warmth and homy ambience inside. The cuisine is basically Spanish, but the chef is incredibly creative and everything we ate was completely delicious. We ordered 3 tapas portions and 2 paellas - the vegetable and the seafood. This was plenty for a light dinner... More

Pumpkin pancakes, deviled eggs, beet salad, olives, bocdillo egg sandwich. Awesome. Went to the book store in the back and bought a book too! Very fun

Amazing meal - the gambas is a must have with some focaccia to mop up the 'crack sauce'. Best on fish and veggie dishes but all great. Staff could not have been more helpful.

My daughter and I walked here from our VRBO upon recommendation of our VRBO owner. We sat outside which was perfect (very noisy inside on a friday night)....wait staff was super friendly, helpful, attentive. We just got sangria, wine and the salami tray, cheese tray and olives. Olives were warm and amazing. So, so good. Perfect light dinner after eating... More

We went here with another couple on a weekday night. The other couple had had good experience. We were not impressed with the service; it was adequate. The food was definitely not as good as we'd heard. The soup of the evening, watermelon gazpacho, was mostly a broth with a heavy dose of what tasted like Worchestershire sauce and almost... More

This was a perfect experience: wonderful, helpful and friendly service, great food, great atmosphere. Highly recommended! We were 3 adults, and shared 6 plates, which was more than enough (we could have stopped after 4, but it was sooo good :)).

Very friendly staff! Cool record store in the back that will play whatever you want in the dining room! Great vibe anytime of the year!

Neighbourhood Profile
Jamaica Plain
This Boston neighborhood feels like a distinct community unique and separate from the bustle of other areas. Beautiful Victorian homes, restaurants with an emphasis on being eco-friendly and providing local and organic food, and a large Hispanic community. Visit Centre and South streets for restaurants, cafes, and little shops. The Arnold Arboretum is a beautiful, large green space well worth a visit if you venture to JP.
