Was looking for some good Chinese food while in Boston for a meeting. Read about this place online and seems like food was decent and prices very reasonable, so came here tonight with a friend for dinner. Service was severely lacking. We asked several times if we should seat ourselves or wait to be seated and twice I was waved... More

Met a friend for dinner here, for my second visit to this restaurant in 6 months. Found the food tasting very bland, a marked drop from first visit back in summer time. Suspect the ownership + chef of this place had changed over this past few months, as some recent Yelp reviewers had pointed out. What a shame, this place... More

My first time in Boston and I was not disappointed with the China town restaurants. Hong Kong Eatery was delicious just like the food back home in Toronto. I went back to this restaurant twice in my short trip of 4 days. Don't expect great service cause you are going for the cheap and delicious food. But the people working... More

Give this place a 3.5 stars. The place is small, but it can get extremely crowded during lunch time. Was here for lunch and the hot tea was warm tea. So we had to return our tea pot for hotter tea. I ordered the wonton dumpling noodle with char siu pork along with chinese spinach on the side. The wonton... More

Good Chinese restaurants everywhere seem to have the same basic template; most are hole in the wall place with odd, little, or no English outside, service is definitely not their focus, the food is the focus. It's all about the food. Add Hong Kong Eatery to this list, because they too are all about the food. There is a big... More

We were on a cruise and Boston was one of the stops we had. We saw on TripAdvisor that this place had great reviews and decided to check it out. Well, we were very disappointed. Not sure why this place had such good ratings. We ordered char siu (叉燒) and soy sauce chicken (油雞), neither of them taste good. The... More

If you're looking for Cantonese food in Boston, this place is a good choice. The crispy pork aka siu yok is delicious and whenever I want it for takeout I come here. I recently sat in and ate for the first time and everything was pretty good. The yee min was pretty spot on, the wonton were actually homemade and... More

For years when we went to Boston my wife would stop here to buy Roast Duck and Cha Shu (BBQ Pork)... The best around... This trip my wife and two daughters decided to have lunch in-town so we sat down while they prep'ed our take-out order... WRONG MOVED... Rather than just "on-Rice" dishes or noodle soup, we ordered four "normally... More
