I was visiting Boston with my family and my wife and I needed to make a quick decision on where to get some food. Unfortunately, we bought the lottery ticket for West End Strollers and lost mightily. We ordered the chicken shawarma and falafel wraps, and were told by a smiling face behind the counter that he would prepare our... More

Can only comment on breakfast. We had extremely fresh bagels with various contents from BEC to Salmon. All was delicious. I would definitely go again for breakfast!!

My husband and I got breakfast sandwiches here. We both enjoyed our breakfast. The ingredients were fresh, bagels were light and fluffy. The only downside is the prices are a little steep. Each bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich was $9.

It was not easy to find a place to eat while visiting the Quincy Market area in Boston. It was a very crowded place. I selected this restaurant because I thought I would enjoy a turkey panini. However, I did not enjoy it at all. The bread was not fresh and it did not taste good. It was a waste... More

I work across the street and sometimes go over to Faneuil Hall area for lunch. Never tried this place before so I thought I would. Chicken parm sandwich was terrible and overpriced. Chicken was cold even though it was under warming lamp. It was dry and I had to ask for sauce and cheese on it. I think the cheese... More

I should have looked into where to go more than I did for lunch, but my boyfriend and I were hungry so we just stopped in to West End Strollers. I ordered the turkey and brie sandwhich. It cost 10 dollars and was not worth it at all. There was no sauce on the sandwhich, making it dry and bland.... More

We stopped in on a Friday night and there were crowds everyone. We decided on salads to go from West End Strollers. The salads are fresh made and the falafel balls were among the best I've ever tasted. The hummus on the salad acted as a dressing and it was really delicious. Friendly counter help.

I had the ham and cheese Panini and potato wedges. The panini was pretty average and the potato wedges were cold and dry. The service was very slow and kind of rude. I would suggest trying one of the many other food options when in Quincy Market.

It was baklawa or haklawa and was very good. Expensive at just shy of $3.00. The servers opening was welcoming, closing could use some work she was talking to her friend as she was cashing me out. She has a very nice singing voice...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
