A comfortable, locals, how it should be, established, go to fav. Outstanding service by Jeff. Molten chocolate cake to die for. Salmon, chowder and seafood stew were amazing. Classic. Off the beaten path in a quiet charming neighbourhood. Don't tell anyone.

This dish was recommended and it was amazing! The chicken breast was cooked perfectly and slightly crispy. It was served with brussels sprouts that were cooked to perfection, tiny, red potatoes, a green onion and bacon. I requested the Meyer Lemon Sauce with Capers on the side because I am not normally a fan of capers but this sauce was... More

for a place with a knock 'em dead reputation, this place was a disappointment. the food was good but not great (sirloin sandwich and lamb burger). the wines were the same but what really aggravated me was that they were out of their best desert. the only saving grace was the atmosphere. the bar was the place to be seated... The tender chunks of halibut with the shrimp and scallops were enough for me to give a favorable rating, but what sets stews apart from the pack is the broth. The broth is what I am thinking about right now as I write this. And the broth and the Cabernet went very well together. This cab that they picked out... More

The food was not great. The beef tips were tough and the coffee was cold. Ok place to eat but better choices out there

Lovely cosy restaurant in a great location. Fantastic food and attentive friendly service. I think this could possibly have been the best meal I've ever eaten in America.

Enjoyed our pre-theater dining at 75 Chestnut. Our waitress was aware that we had a show to attend and was attentive to our need to move things along but not so fast that we felt rushed. The hostess stopped by the table to make sure we were enjoying our meal, which was a nice touch. We felt that the staff... More

This is a small neighborhood restaurant with a pure Beacon Hill feel. The food is very good. The staff is professional -- not overly friendly -- but efficient and well mannered. The locals eat here. It is located off the main streets and the hostess can spot tourists before you open the door. My daughters and I were given a... More

Made a reservation for four and our table was ready right away, despite how busy it was. Lovely spot located on Beacon Hill with cobblestone streets and gas lit lanterns. Food was incredibly delicious and very creative. Interesting and delicious cocktails. Service was great and staff very friendly, despite how busy they always are. Will visit again!
