We stayed at the Liberty Hotel across the street. We visited Harvard Gardens TWICE! And we would come back over and over again! We had dinner and brunch there. I hate tomato soup and my bf had a burger - both were great!! I had a mixed drink and it was perfect! We went back for brunch a few days... More

Tried the pizza, in fact, the white mushroom pizza. Really good and quite unique. Highly recommend it.

If you're looking for a bar with great food in Beacon Hill, you can't beat Harvard Gardens. I've lived a block away for 10 years and have been to every restaurant in Beacon Hill numerous times..this is my favorite simply because the staff are friendly and unpretentious, and the food is exceptional for the price. Highly recommend.

Local restaurant for very reasonably priced but unusually high quality bar or pub food on Beacon Hill near Mass General Hospital. The drinks are fine and diverse as expected but the pizzas or flat breads are excellent and the steak tips are well beyond expected. The service is fine and the ambiance is quite comfortable considering you are in a... More

Enjoyed the food, the service was a bit inattentive, but would consider going back again. Convenient location to the John Jeffries House

Some dishes are great (especially the HG burger, potstickers, cobb salad, wings), though others can be disappointing at times, and of variable execution. Relaxed spot by the hospital gets a lot of people after work.

A friend had mentioned this place for quick, cheap and cheerful good food near where we were staying. The menu is basic, but the food was very well prepared, tasty, and modestly priced. Atmosphere was bubbly thanks to the bar area without it being noisy and, as with all experiences, this was made better by the busy, attentive wait staff... More
