I had higher hopes for this place. Nice enough. Good not great. Maybe another try would yield better results.

I live on the West Coast and enjoy Thai food often. I doubt anyone in the kitchen of this restaurant is Thai because the quality of the food was very low...not fresh, Americanized versions of something vaguely resembling what is served at authentic Thai places. The King & I has been around a very long time, almost a Charles Street... More

Really delicious and friendly people, at a good price. The portions are big and the food tastes freshly made. Highly recommended.

This place was recommended to us by the lady at the front desk of our hotel. We happen to love Thai food, but just asked for a recommendation for any place to eat. She actually suggested Thai, and being avid lovers of Thai food we happily took her advice. It was right across the street from our hotel (John Jeffries... More

We stumbled on this small Thai restaurant while walking Beacon Hill; it happened to be lunchtime and the place looked interesting. No pretensions here, just straightforward authentic dishes sensitively balanced and totally fresh. Very pleasant service too.

My wife and I came here based on the reviews on tripadvisor and based on the tripadvisor sticker they have on their window. Service was great but the food did not taste right. It somehow lacked flavor and for the flavor it had....it was the wrong flavor. And that goes for both orders me and my wife had. If it... More

This small Thai restaurant on Charles St in Boston hosts a nice menu (with several new dishes for me). Service was quick and attentive (no nonsense, but in a friendly kind of way.) Prices were very reasonable and the food was delicious, nicely spiced and hot.

One of my favorite Thai place in Boston is King and I. I have been there many times. The place has good amount of tables and great menu and quality. Besides their red curry/Pad thai, other favorites include Chicken Kra Pow, and soups.
