Had dinner here Xmas week and was presently surprised! The food was amazing and the service was very good. The restaurant was full with locals and also tourists. I loved the veal parmigiano and caprese salad. Located on Newbury street it is a short taxi ride to many of the upscale local hotels in the area. Recommend calling ahead for... More

Stylish restaurant entered at basement level where there is a good looking bar area. Seated upstairs , which is very nice. Our server Michael did an efficient job without being intrusive getting us refills as requested and promptly. Dishes were all good. Would definitely go again which states my opinion of how we felt ! Would recommend you book rather... More

My girlfriend and I came in here on a Monday night and had Peter as our server. We were very impressed with his knowledge of the menu, his outgoing personality and how friendly he was. My girlfriend had a couple of questions about the menu and he was able to answer all of them and check to see if the... More

I called 15-20 restaurants to see what was open on Christmas eve and Christmas day within walking distance of our hotel (the Taj). I found only two - Papa Razzi and Joe's American Grill. We reserved at Papa Razzi for both nights and at Joe's also on Christmas day. Having enjoyed the first night, my son and I decided to... More

We go to Papa Razzi when we just want an Italian meal near Copley Square. It's great when taking college kids (and their friends) out to dinner. The food is good, the atmosphere is very comfortable.

Do not recommend. Is a busy restaurant and service was ok. However the food was poor, of he 4 people I was with no one thought their dish was good and expected a lot better from a restaurant like this. My pasta was raw and the other dishes didn't taste good. Not going again

Superior minestrone, excellent bruschetta that we wolfed down, lovely service. Highly recommend as an addition to your day in Back Bay. Remarkably affordable given the top notch scratch menu and ambience.

Standard Italian fare, very well done. Quite busy and they don't exactly encourage lingering, at least on a busy night.

Girls trip to Boston, ate here on recommendation of John the concierge at Revere Hotel. Good choice. I had the Veal special with mashed potatoes the other girls had chicken with lemon. We shared Tiramisu and bottle of wine. Servers and owners were attentive. Would recommend and return. Good value, good food, good atmosphere.

Located on Newbury Street, a very sophisticated part of Boston you could be forgiven for thinking that this restaurant might be a little pretentious but it's really none of that instead being warm and welcoming. With table both upstairs and at street level the place is airy with a warm welcoming atmosphere especially on a bitterly cold November evening. There... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
