My friend, who lives near Boston and has been coming to this restaurant for 15 years, has been telling me about Pagliuca's for as long as I've know him. He's also told me about an amazing waitress named Charlotte, who's worked there for decades. I was worried that my expectations were set so high I was destined to be disappointed.... More

My husband, 22 yr old daughter and I loved this restaurant off the main drag in Boston's North End. The place is small and you will be sitting close to your neighbor but this just adds to the atmosphere! Started with calamari...and our meals included pasta and meatballs, eggplant parm and a rolled veal...all very delicious and large portions...lots of... More

We felt like family by the time we left. Excellent food from the appetizer to the cannoli. Large portions and authentic quality in a cozy environment.

My wife and I both had specials which were excellent. The kids shared old standbys (chicken Parmesan and meatballs) which they were very happy with. The bread and olive oil dip were out of this world. Prices were fair for the city. Service was by an experienced team that needed a gentle reminder every so often.

My husband and myself have been coming to this family restaurant for close to 30+ years. This is a restaurant where the "locals" come to eat. The Food is spectacular, many delicious choices they serve Wine, Beer, Cordials, desserts. This is a busy restaurant - the staff are pleasant, helpful with choices, all dishes are served super hot - we... More

I have been coming to this restaurant for over 20 years. Never a disappointment in the group. Wait staff is great , family and authentic. I have no idea about where the negative reviews are coming from. It's not a quiet place or romantic.... but if you want real good , authentic Italian regional food and you want to have... More

We had just finished up a harbour cruise through Boston and were very hungry. The north end was extremely busy and we happened to stumble upon this place. The food was fantastic and the restaurant was alive - a typical Italian restaurant which homemade food, good wine and great service. I will certainly return.

We hadn't been here for several months, and were disappointed on our recent lunch visit. Lunch prices are not inexpensive, and the size and quality of our meals had clearly diminished since our last visit. Maybe a new chef? But whatever the reason, dishes that in the past were uniformly cooked perfectly were now just okay. And portions were definitely... More

Our party walked around the North End and stumbled across this place. When we arrived they were pretty slow but it took a while for our server to take our drink order and for us to order food. You MUST ask for oil for the bread it was delicious. My daughter had the lasagna and I had the Chicken broccoli... More

North End
Wandering around Boston’s North End can feel like being transported to Europe. Stroll down Hanover and Salem streets for the finest Italian restaurants, bakeries, cafes, and a few boutique shops. Take part in the big debate as to whether Modern Pastry or Mike’s serves a better cannoli. Before your food coma sets in, make sure to stop by historic Paul Revere’s home, and follow the Freedom Trail to Old North Church and Copp’s Hill Burying Ground. Take a rest in a cafe on Hanover street and observe the quirky, European character of the North End.
