Excellent food! Not a place to grab a bite to eat, but rather a place to have a night out. Would definitely go back even though this place is on the higher end. The burrata mozzarella salad was amazing!

Had a late lunch there during a recent trip to Boston. I would highly recommend this North End restaurant as a "must" when you're in Boston. Will be back for dinner on the next trip.

We went on a Wednesday night. We had a reservation and were seated promptly. The food was very good - we had mussels to start and both the seafood pasta special and another pasta that was on the regular menu. The mussels were great. The special was presented in a fun copper pot - and was very delicious. The shrimp... More

We arrived here on a Saturday night- with reservations and we were promptly seated. Our waitress although not overly warm and fuzzy was efficient and direct. Our wine glasses never even tetered on empty-she was right there! Meatballs for appetizer and for entrees we had the timpano and a bison special. Very large portions so come hungry. I love the... I stopped in for drinks, espresso and dessert. The restaurant had just opened on a Saturday afternoon. The two bartenders were very snotty and could be over heard commenting and Judging patrons as they came in. My drink was ok and reasonably priced. Espresso ok. I ordered the bread pudding at the bartenders recommendation. It was beautifully presented. However, it... More

With the weather finally becoming beautiful, we requested a table by the open window/doors. They accommodated us with a simple smile and a ten minute wait. Our waiter Eric, was warm, attentive and very helpful. We started with a shared Caesar salad and it was fresh and dressed perfectly, along with a delicious chewy bread with oil. We both ordered... I recently visited Bricco for the first time to celebrate a family birthday. We had reservations which I would recommend here, or, for anywhere in the North End. We were a few minutes early and taken to out table right away. As with most of the restaurants in the North End the dining area are crowded and small. Our table... More

Had a wonderful dinner there last night. But then, noticed in the small restroom that they have, a cook using the restroom and leaving WITHOUT washing . . . looked around, no signs "Employees must wash hands" . . .. went to manager at desk who couldn't have been more indifferent . . . didn't care at all . .... Staying in North End

Neighbourhood Profile
North End
Wandering around Boston’s North End can feel like being transported to Europe. Stroll down Hanover and Salem streets for the finest Italian restaurants, bakeries, cafes, and a few boutique shops. Take part in the big debate as to whether Modern Pastry or Mike’s serves a better cannoli. Before your food coma sets in, make sure to stop by historic Paul Revere’s home, and follow the Freedom Trail to Old North Church and Copp’s Hill Burying Ground. Take a rest in a cafe on Hanover street and observe the quirky, European character of the North End.
