I loved this restaurant. I chose to sit upstairs which was lovely. It almost feel like someone's home. The set menu is superb value. Each meal is very generous for a great price. I would recommend

Great wine selection. Cozy seating but not uncomfortable. Calamari was cooked perfectly. My husband didn't think his bolognese was anything spectacular but we both loved my gnocchi dish. It was pricey for the portions and quality but still a very good meal.

Took my husband here for his birthday. We got seated next to the window overlooking Hanover Street which was fabulous. We ordered the Fare Un Viaggio with the wine flight and loved it. It was so nice to be surprised with every course they brought us. The food was plentiful and delicious. The waitstaff was fantastic. Overall it was one... More

We had a lovely dinner here this evening with some visiting-from-out-of-town family members. I was tasked with choosing a restaurant in Boston for tonight's dinner - my main criteria were that it be reasonably quiet, have good food, and nice ambience. I did a fair amount of research and asking around, and finally settled on Aria. I think I hit... More

After the comedy improv show went across the street and Found this place. One of the best pasta dishes I have ever had in MY ENTIRE life! Plus if you like the Patriots, you might see some players stroll in like I did...just saying.

Our thanks to owner Massimo for putting together the most incredible dinner for 30. The service was impeccable and the menu superb. The porchetta and filet were so tender. The pasta cooked perfectly. The wine parings were wonderful. By far the best value in Boston.

The North End has endless choices when it comes to Italian restaurants. Most are good but Aria is great! The food is truly homemade and fresh and you can tell that the difference. Massimo, the owner, and Nicole, the server were out of the way nice and very professional. There may be 12 tables in the whole place so book... More

We came here tonight and felt incredibly welcomed from the start. The meatball appetizer is one of the best I've had. Can't wait to come back!

This will be a difficult review to write because the food was amazing....but we're not sure we'll return. Here's a summary: This was our first visit to Aria and we found the food to be outstanding (we sampled a variety of their signature dishes---veal chop, osso bucco, gnocchi & bolognese...every dish was delicious) and the service was excellent (attentive and... Attention to detail and great service! Cosy and good quality everything. The food portions were a bit too large for my taste, but the copious plates will please many.

North End
Wandering around Boston’s North End can feel like being transported to Europe. Stroll down Hanover and Salem streets for the finest Italian restaurants, bakeries, cafes, and a few boutique shops. Take part in the big debate as to whether Modern Pastry or Mike’s serves a better cannoli. Before your food coma sets in, make sure to stop by historic Paul Revere’s home, and follow the Freedom Trail to Old North Church and Copp’s Hill Burying Ground.
