We went there for an early dinner and it wasn't bad but it sure wasn't special. I chose a quesadilla which was fine but honestly the chips were better. Had to ask for the bill, ask for refills and the bill was wrong the first...More

Hi, Theresa, we are sorry that your visit to Casa Romero wasn't the most pleasant, but we will continue working with management and our staff, so things of that nature don't occur again.

Tried tbhus restaurant after reading reviews and was in walking distance to the Westin. Very happy with our meal. We were there early enough to have the early bird special which was enough food. Started with the guacamole. I'm allergic to raw onions so they...More

The location of this restaurant is perfect - right off of Newbury street but tucked away from the noise and bustle. Service was fast, which was to be expected for a 5:15 reservation. Drinks were decent - nothing too special. The food was yummy -...More

Went there with friends. We tried 2 varieties of margarita, one of which was their "special". Both were probably the worst I have ever tasted. I ordered a puerco and though the sauce was very nice, my pork was extremely dry :(. It is really...More

We were told this was Boston's only Mexican Food Restaurant. It was within walking distance of our hotel in the Back Bay area. This seemed to be pretty authentic Mexican Food. Service was great. We are used to Tex Mex so we didn't think it...More

Went here on a recommendation of a friend. It's easy to miss, kind of on a little side alley street off Newbury/Boylston. Cool entrance, the inside was larger than I expected with an underground type feel similar to Lolita's. The atmosphere was great! Lots of...More

My friend and I had dinner here on a Thursday night. We arrived at 6pm and were seated right away. Margaritas were awesome and food amazing. I had enchiladas poblanos. Just terrific. Staff were friendly and professional. Can't wait to go back!

Back in the 70's, when we were desperate for Mex. food in Boston, this restaurant was the only place serving authentic. But, since then many have arrived and many are just as good or better. We went again recently to compare. They are still in...More

I would give them a call-they are very nice and I am sure will have a ready answer. But I suspect yes. For example, they use corn-based flour, when it is used at all-not wheat-based. There are plenty of options that don't... More
