Plain Steak & Cheese is the go to here. Bread is also long & fresh. I'm not a fan of their Italian subs. Don't like how they do their toppings. Lettuce cut too big instead of shredded. Red onions when it should be white and diced. Disappointing, but I know to go for the S&C. Their pasta dishes look really... More

Walked up on this place a little by accident. Super hungry and it looked fun from the outside. Owner was at the counter and took out orders, served us in a matter of minutes. Really great meatball sub, my wife had the "Italians Italian". She said is was really nice as well. Fair prices and good food. Nice call.

This is my 2nd visit and I will probably stop here tomorrow. Just amazing service from the owner. The first visit I needed pasta and meatballs for my toddler. He put something together for me and it was delicious! Today I stopped in and got a antipasto salad. It is so large and wonderful! This place is just perfect to... More

This is a great place for lunch or dinner while exploring Boston. It's not fussy but the food is very good. It's an order at the counter place but the seating area is comfortable and we didn't feel at all rushed. Local people seem to meet here for lunch as well as tourists. Food is well seasoned and well cooked,... More

The pasta is absolutely amazing! The person (the owner possibly?) who waited on us was so friendly and accommodating. We were told the pastas can be customized because they are when ordered. I ordered the sausage and peppers Linguine and asked to have it made more spicy. It was the best I've ever had!

We ate here recently and it was soooo delicious. We were all hungry for pasta and debating which place in the area to try. This one had the menu outside and we decided it would work for us. Not only did it work but it was wayyyy beyond our expectations. I had the pumpkin tortellini and it was absolutely delicious.... More

We came across Dino's will doing the mandatory Freedom Trail- such a lucky find. My friend and I ordered the baked fettuccini and a steak sub. Both to share, both great, but the pasta truly was something else - wonderfully cheesy and garlicky, we were both absolutely stuffed halfway through the meal but had to finish it nonetheless! It was... More

Don't let this small restaurant deceive you. The family is very friendly and accommodating. The food is fantastic. The sandwiches hot or cold are delicious and huge. The pasta and fish/ specials are all incredible. Very kid friendly as well. A huge take out place as well. We often order food to take back to the boat with us in... More

If you go to Dino's you should definitely take a sandwich! I took the gnocchi which weren't too great, at least not as worth the money as the sandwiches were. You get a huge sandwich really cheap – good place for a lunch!

Wandering around Boston’s North End can feel like being transported to Europe. Stroll down Hanover and Salem streets for the finest Italian restaurants, bakeries, cafes, and a few boutique shops. Take part in the big debate as to whether Modern Pastry or Mike’s serves a better cannoli. Before your food coma sets in, make sure to stop by historic Paul Revere’s home, and follow the Freedom Trail to Old North Church and Copp’s Hill Burying Ground. Take a rest in a cafe on Hanover street and observe the quirky, European character of the North End.
