This is a great spot to go before a Red Sox game. Checkout the variety of beer available. The blueberry is a popular one. Sports on the TVs and there is plenty of food to choose from. Be prepared to arrive a little early for food before a game as it eat busy.

The people who were with me really liked it here, but apparently I had a completely different experience. My order was wrong, we had to get up and go find our waiter on four different occasions. The fried donut dessert description was very misleading. It said four toppings which apparently included powdered sugar, a small dollop of whipped cream, and... More

Overpriced for sure. Sent back french fries, came back same cold and greasy condition. Hamburger and fries for two, not worth $29.86, not including drinks and tip. I certainly won't be back. I would rather go to a fast food restaurant for same kind of food only less expensive. Thanks.

I was going to a concert at House of Blues and figured I'd eat out by Fenway nad by the name alone, I'd knew I'd like this place. There were plenty of great beers to pick from. I'm still kicking myself that I didn't get a flight and instead only had one style of beer. There was a decent sized... More

This is very close to Fenway Park. We went for lunch after a tour of Fenway Park and it wasn't crowded at all. It is huge and I imagine it is busy on game day. Menu is standard pub food but it was delicious. We had the Fish & Chips and the BWX Burger. They brew their own beer there... More

Great selection of beer also with an own brewery. Love the blueberry beer! Kind bartenders and decent pricing. I can just recommend to check it out.

We went in offseason, just a couple of days before the start of the season, but I'm sure this is the place to be before a game.

Loved this place. Right next to Fenway. Lots of different beers. Took home a growler with local beer. Fish and chips were off the chart. Super crowded, but still good service.

Great pre-game atmosphere right outside Fenway Park. Good selection of beers and great service at the bar. Also had a section showing live English Premier League football. Didn't eat there, so can't comment on the food.

The Boston Beer Works is a much go before a Red Sox game. The blueberry beer is the best around! I wouldn't think of going any were else.

Staying in Fenway / Kenmore

Neighbourhood Profile
Fenway / Kenmore
The Curse of the Bambino may have ended years ago, but loyal Red Sox fans will continue to infiltrate this home to historic Fenway Park, where you can find victory banners, people yelling in stereotypical Boston accents, and lots of sports bars. Located within Kenmore Square, the old gas station Citgo sign is another Boston skyline classic seen throughout the city. In addition to a hectic and diehard sports mentality, this neighborhood is also home to some of Boston’s many universities. Move from Boston University territory to that of Northeastern, and spend time at the famous Museum of Fine Arts. For more culture, check out the smaller but equally beautiful Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. Continue off the beaten path and check out the green space in the Back Bay Fens, a pretty community garden. This diverse neighborhood has a mix of universities, sports, culture, and more residential green space.
