I think this is the best diner in Boston, and definitely one of the best pancakes I've tasted. The design of the place is very special, and it's a very nice surprise considering the surrounding of it- where it is mainly garages.
We came with a group of 7. As soon as we were inside the restaurant, the waitress told us the kitchen was too small to serve a whole table of 7. We proposed to make 2 tables (3 & 4) but she refused again. We...More
This place was just up the street from our air bnb, so we gave it a try before we headed out on the Freedom Trail. It doesn't look like much, and there was a 40 minute wait even at 7:00 a.m. on a Saturday, but...More
We had a nice breakfast experience at Allston Diner. It's a very local place with a funky vibe. Cartoons were playing on the tv and we were seated at the X-Men booth (which also had Spider-Man). There is nothing fancy or even updated with the...More

Late Brunch on a Sunday came with a 45 minute wait, but it was fine in light of an interesting area to walk around and look. A very engaging environment with unique coffee mugs for each patron along with local art on the walls. Chicken...More
Fabulous funky atmosphere. Quirky fun curios decorate this place. Our waitress, Dani, was full of energy, funny, and solicitous without being intrusive. The food is great. You will find familiar items on the menu, elevated by the chef's thoughtful preparation. I had the nutella garden:...More
