I know I have been going there for over 24 years because my first visit was to combat the lightning bolt intense hunger that strikes a pregnant woman. No, you can not wait to eat later....and oh wow, diverse glossy mags, two floors of books,...More

I recently had a chance to visit Trident Booksellers and Cafe with the New England Children's Booksellers Association and am ready to plan my next trip soon. The bookstore, itself, had an excellent selection with a very knowledgeable staff. I thoroughly enjoyed browsing and looking...More

We were looking for a warm breakfast and saw this place as we were walking down Newbury street. Typical deli food. Nothing special but good location. It's located in a very quaint bookstore.

Have been here once or twice before. Service was very good. But both my and my girlfriend's egg dishes were super dry and overcooked. Very little flavor as well. Like Trident and will give it another try soon.

Many of my friends recommended this place for a quick lunch and I was excited to visit the place. I ordered the salmon burger with sweet potato fries. The salmon burger is like mashed salmon with I guess some veggies or something( I couldn't quite...More

We always come here after a visit to Newbury Comics. I've never had anything that wasn't completely yummy. Today the kids had "the best pancakes ever.". I'm not big in fires and I loved them. Homemade and crisp. I will always return.

Came up as a highly rated choice when we searched for vegetarian restaurants in Boston. Food did not disappoint, although we were confused as to why they refused to caramelize the onions as we requested for one of our burgers.

A nice place for breakfast. Not the most friendly and smiley people I have met, but I guess they were busy...😜Tipping alternatives starts at 15%, 20%, 25% and 30%. A bit greedy? Possible with no tip, but that would also be a bit extreme. Nice...More

Quirky and unique establishment with great food! I prefer the upstairs seating area by window for views. Take time out from Newbury St. shopping to refuel.

Think they have a couple GF options, but you should check their menu on their website. And think they're open every day at 8am.

Hello Flannery, GinnyBoston is correct. While healthcode does not allow animals on our patio, you could have your dog just on the other side of the fence on the sidewalk. -Trident Booksellers & Cafe
