This was our first stop when we arrived in Boston and were starting our walk of the Freedom Trail. Food was delicious, service was good. Kid friendly too!

My brother and I stopped in for a pint after walking several miles. This is a local pub, filled with lots of folks who knew each other, plus a coed company softball team. Service was crisp and good, Guinness were served with a proper pour,...More

The pastrami was really good, my wife says the burger was quite good as well. It's in such a cool spot and the building has been left as original as possible. It was a really neat place to wrap up our visit of the Constitution...More

We were excited to visit this little piece of history and the ambiance did not disappoint. Has a colonial look and feel and just knowing so many famous American patriots had sat within the same 4 walls added to the enjoyment. Clam chowder in a...More

This Pub is fabulous and historic and it Graces the oldest neighborhood in Massachusetts. The food is American . This whole area has changed since I was a little girl in the 1960s. It was at that time one of the poorest neighborhoods in Boston....More

Seemed to me that almost every where in Boston, there is something about the place being historic or the oldest. However, not only is this tavern old and cozy, but the food is terrific. The first time we ate there, we sat in what I...More

Charlestown’s hilly roads, narrow streets and gaslight
lamps, make it an enticing neighborhood to visit.
Follow the Freedom Trail over the Washington St bridge
from the North End or take the scenic water locks to
Paul Revere Park. Walk through City Square and stroll
down cute Main street, wandering up the windy
residential streets to Monument Square, where you can
learn about the city’s history along with a great view
