We (wife and I) shared breakfast here with a good friend. Food was great; service good; and overall just a fun place to have breakfast at a local place when you're in Back Bay from out of town.

I come to a place like this and expect them to have ales.... no Stouts, no porters, no IPA... nothing but twelve different varieties of American Adjunct Lager piss. Wtf??

Decent draft selection and friendly service. Bartenders definitely cared about the drinks they crafted. I tried the fish and chips- which were good. The mixed chops/fries were a mixed bag for me but if you like waffle cut, thick cut, sweet potato and something else...More

We hit up all of the upscale, fancy patios on Boyleston and this was by far the most fun. Lots of dive-y bar food for cheap. Our waitress was pleasant and gave some other fun tips. Great little local place.

We visited the Pour House a couple of times during out trip to Boston. Its a fun lively place with which is frequented by locals as well as tourists. The food is very reasonably priced, especially in comparison to other bars nearby.

I've been going to the Pour House for ages: 1981. (At that time I was working on Lansdowne Street and for lunch we'd get "to go" orders: steak tips, Buffalo wings, burritos, on pretty much a daily basis.) Not much has changed since then, and...More

I guess if you like the standard greasy fair, a burger slapped between a couple of bland burger buns and some limp lettuce, loud TV and sticky carpet, this is for you. The burger meat was good, which is why I didn't give it 2...More

If you want no fuss decent fast food in a very lively and cheerful environment, this suits the bill. We were in Boston for almost 2 weeks and it was close to our Hotel so we often popped in. Get there before 6pm if you...More

Place to enjoy a drink with locals. Reasonably priced food and plenty of it. $21 for Philly cheesesteak and grilled cheese sandwich both with fries and two cokes. Quite noisy but plenty of atmosphere.

We do not take reservations unless it is a special event. The tables are first come, first serve with no hostess. Our tables turn very quickly though
