This is a casual Kosher restaurant near Post Office Square. The food is very good, though somewhat expensive. There is ample seating too.

We are huge fans of Milk Street Cafe located in the heart of downtown Boston financial district, under ten minutes walk from Fanueil Hall and the Freedom Trail. In Winter time, we love their soups, especially Corn Chowder and Butternut Squash. They have fabulous macaroni and cheese, interesting salads, great coffee, and yummy desserts. At separate stations, they also serve... More

Really the restaurant is great to have - but parking is a bit of a pain - if you work nearby great but if not - parking will cost you more than lunch. Having said that - the place is a hub - and was packed at lunch and not very conducive to a leisurely lunch by any standards -... More

I was looking for a quick place to buy and lunch and return to a business meeting in the same building as this cafe. It was pouring rain so I didn't want to leave the building. The cafe is located in the lobby of 99 High Street. They have a nice variety of sandwiches, salads, soups and hot food. There... More

I have had the chance to sample both the cafe's premises and the catered food and it is very good. The cafe has a relaxed and informal ambience and it is good to grab a quick bite between meetings, whilst the catered food has a very good selection of different options. Being the only kosher option in downtown Boston I... More

We stopped here for a very quick bite and drink before checking in to a hotel nearby. There are several "stations" here- a panini bar, and entree station, a desert counter, and drinks, chips and thinks scattered throughout- we had only a sandwich, good value, some sushi- surprisingly good, some drinks and a cookie. altogether a decent budget lunch.

Great place! Had a meeting at Milk Street Cafe and had no idea it was a Kosher restaurant, and was pleasantly surprised. They have multiple kitchens so you can have both meat or dairy. The salads and soups are great. Great option for easy lunch in this neighborhood.

This place was so big and beautiful! There are many choices on the menu are recorded, the food looks delicious and fresh. There are many different types of bread is always fresh to bring the most delicious food to customers. The staff here is very friendly with customers and I like that. Maybe I'll come back here.

This was our first time in Boston and wanted to find a Kosher restaurant close to the harbor. I have to say that I have never been to a kosher restaurant that offers meat, dairy and parve items. They have wonderful hot plate items such as salmon, pastas, chicken, etc. and creative sandwich combinations. They also have a nice selection... More

You would never know this restaurant is kosher. They certainly don't advertise it in the restaurant as they cater to all business people in the area. They have 3 separate kitchens so they offer meat, dairy and parve options. Sandwiches and soups are delicious. Other options include salads and sushi. Great place to drop in for breakfast or lunch whether... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
