Great food. But pricey and so so service. Loved loc lak and rolls. But portions are small and waiter made several mistakes in our order Still worth it.

I had a surprise b-day party here and it was a disaster from the beginning. They use a group called eventplicity to handle their events and the person (Jesse) who helped plan my event was disorganized and clueless. Some of the highlights were 1) them serving meat when I specifically request vegetarian, 2) sitting my group in the back dark... More

Went there because the website said there was a extensive vegetarian menu, however when we got there the selection was pretty limited. The dishes we got were decent but nothing special, don't think that we would go back.

Having recently found out that the Elephant Walk in Cambridge MA has been "closed for renovation" which I since learned is actually a permanent closing, I took my wife to the south end restaurant of the same name for her birthday. We were early for our reservation and they sat us immediately. We had the traditional Cambodian Trey Tuk salad... More

We had dinner. The food is delicious. Great service and atmosphere. Friedly staff. One of the best Cambodian/French restaurant in Boston.

Nice set but service was terrible and with some chippy attitude. Waited 45 mins for more than one starter to come out and the order was wrong. Food was okay but the dumplings are vile. Not idea what people are going on about. All in all a bad experience and another overhyped place. NOT RECOMMENDED

Very good Cambodian-French fusion restaurant. We ordered soup and five different entrees and all were very good. They offer good selection of beer. The ambience is quite nice too and service is fast and attentive.

Pretty good Cambodian-inspired food in Boston. We tried crispy port spring rolls, beet salad, short ribs, soba noodles, kimchi pork, and Khar Saiko. Nice flavors and ambiance but a sense of delight is missing.

Wonderful flavors. Well presented dishes. Relaxing atmosphere. Well worth a visit, even if you're unfamiliar with Cambodian cuisine.

Description
The Elephant Walk serves Award-Winning Cambodian and French cuisine with extensive vegetarian and gluten-free selections. Cambodian cooking is beautiful and delicious, but still rare in America. Less hot and sweet than Thai, richer and more complex than Vietnamese, the complex spice pastes that are the foundation of many Cambodian dishes reflect Cambodia's Indian ancestry (but use fresh rather than dried spices). Our Cambodian and French selections encompass both traditional and original dishes created by our Chef Nadsa de Monteiro, who was raised in Phnom Penh speaking both Cambodian and French and subsequently lived in France for many years. Our Cambodian-and-French theme is an authentic reflection of our roots!

Staying in South End

Neighbourhood Profile
South End
Stroll down the beautiful brownstone lined streets while capturing views of Boston’s tallest buildings from a distance. Some of Boston’s best restaurants are scattered around this neighborhood. There are many gems to be found, from jazz clubs to classy bars and restaurants. It is also home to art galleries, interesting boutiques, artsy stores and SOWA open market during the summer months. The South End is a true find in the city, with a more residential feeling than Back Bay.
