My wife and I spent a week vacationing in San Diego and Palm Springs, eating mostly at expensive restaurants, and one of our favorite meals was at this place. We sat outside in front of the restaurant, on the dining patio which overlooks the ocean. The meals are very well prepared, but very cheap as well. My only complaint is... More

We went in there because of reviews raved about the amazing staff and great service. Our apptizer arrived after the dinner and the salad arrived after we had finished our meal. They left it with us even after us pointing out the fact that its pointless to have salad after the meal.and they charge $6 for a poorly made salad.... More

Two of us had a very nice late lunch here. Very good service from a smiling guide that said all the right things. Since i frequently cook India, she was correct in all her ideas. My lamb Korma was seasoned just right. Proper Indian cooking is more subtle than very hot.The chef got it just right. The spicy naan was a... More

The restaurant was close to our resort and that's the main reason we chose it. They served the garlic naan which was very soft and yummy. But the veg entree was mediocre. The tea was really tasty and aromatic. Ambience was great. The only negative thing I observed was the chair's fabric seats were torn and looked old (all the... More

Really enjoyed the Momo as a starter (steamed dumplings) followed by tandoori salmon and a vindaloo lamb with some basmati rice and the naan of the day. Good flavors, nice spice levels and constant attention to water glasses being filled. Love the informality of it all and still being able to enjoy an affordable meal

We loved our dinner! Our meal started with a savory dal soup that was so yummy. Our pakoras were hot and flavorful, and our paneer entree was spicy and filled with cheese. Service was quick and attentive. We were so glad we went here on our last night in San Diego.

A relative small restaurant with some table on the street. Large selection of foods which you can specify the spicyness...1-10. I had a three and whatever it was, it was hot enough for me. The sauces are great and supply most of the flavoring. Vegetarian, chicken and lamb are the staples. Nice place for an informal dinner.

Every dish we ordered tasted amazing. The atmosphere was lovely. The waitstaff excellent. I do wish it was in our area so we could go frequently!
