The Aladdin located in busy Hillcrest and facing Vermont St. has indoor and outdoor seating. The dusty unpolished brass display items and heavy brocade drapes contrasts sharply with the light pita rounds, sweet date drink, and fresh ingredients in the babaganou dip. Efficient service goes with the extensive menu that includes a good selection of Mid-East dishes, pizza, wraps, and... More

This was my first visit to this restaurant. I met others for a business matter. I can only speak to my own platter of chicken salad, which was of fine quality. Service was smooth and efficient for a table of ten. Parking in the area can be tough, depending on the time of day, day of the week, and such.... More

This is a correction due to posting at the wrong location. Met a friend for dinner here to reacquaint myself with the LGBT area of Hillcrest. I was in the mood to try something new and different, and Aladdin was recommended to me by a couple gracious seasoned gentlemen who I met while drinking at Flicks (my old stomping grounds... More

This pan-Mediterranean cafe is a local favorite. The decor is exotic, and the service is excellent. Parking can be a challenge. The menu offers a wide variety of Mediterranean specialty dishes-- from vegetarian falafel, veggie pizza, to savory chicken or lamb schwarmas and kebabs. My favorite: chicken salad... a bed of fresh vegetables, sprinkled with pistachios and feta, topped with... More

Finding parking during dinner time took about 20 minutes. It's by a Trader Joe's and a busy strip mall, so plan accordingly. Dinner for four was $80 without tip. Service was very good and the meal was, for the most part - very decent. My husband had the falafel wrap and it was awesome. The mint added to the salad... More

We are creatures of habit. That's really the only "good" reason I can give for the fact that, though this Aladdin restaurant is closer than the Clairemont Mesa one, this is our first time actually dining here. Well, that and the fact that we were in the general vicinity this day, and needed sustenance quickly and relatively cheaply. We were... More

I've been to this restaurant so many times in the last few years, although my most recent visit was the first in several months. The prices was a little much for what you get, but Camille is out of town and this place went to hell in a hand basket! No music. Meat in veggie dishes! The impertinent and rude... More

This is one of my favorite spots. Best middle eastern food in San Diego. The food never disappoints. The food is always fresh and delicious. My constant favorites are the garlic spread.... This stuff is like a garlic orgasim in your mouth. LOVE it!! The baba ghanoush VERY good. I love the falafel wrap with extra tahini. My best friend... More

What a nice place! This was the best Lebanese style place I can ever remember trying, the hummus was so flavorful! Excellent Greek salad too.
