The Point Loma Living Room occupies a historic house and is a great spot to stop for coffee or tea and a chat. There's a tempting case of sweets and WiFi (free I hear). With new management, I noticed that they now offer cold brew to enjoy either inside or outside with 3 patios -- front facing busy Rosecrans, side... More

The menu does not fit the area. It is a run of the mill a little over priced place. But all places have there place and they fit the family style restaurant . A little bit of everything and nothing you can't get someplace else cheaper. The deserts looked good but my meal spoiled that. Service was good!

It was a hot late September afternoon, fatigued from shopping, we popped in here for a craft made margarita and some brews. Sat on the Patio, enjoyed watching San Diego promenade on by. Drinks were cool, scene was cooler. Wish I was there now.

Great place to relax with a coffee or a beer or a glass of wine and chat with friends. Inside or out, it's a comfortable setting. I had the chicken salad sandwich which wasn't that good because it had almost no chicken salad on it, but my wife had the chicken salad platter which was a nice portion and good.

I've been here twice now and the old house is incredibly charming. Nothing fancy but if you want good coffee and a fresh, clean breakfast this is a great place to try.

This place just feels (and looks) like a home. I've spent many hours working from here. They have good coffee, a nice selection of food and their Wifi is ok. Check out their second floor if you are looking for a quieter place to sit.

Description
Point Loma Living Room Coffeehouse resides in a 2 story historic landmark, The Jennings House, the oldest home in Point Loma, built in 1886. Through the years it has been a school, a clothing store, and for more than 10 years a coffeehouse providing hot & cold beverages, pastries, and a wide assortment of breakfast items, sandwiches, soups, salads, and other delicious items.

Under new ownership since 2/1/17, Point Loma Living Room has recently being updated in order to bring back the historic beauty of the home, while at the same time maintaining the atmosphere that the greater community of Point Loma have grown to love and appreciate over time. We look forward to sharing not only the history of The Jennings House, but also the history of Point Loma through artwork, articles, and information that will be incorporated into the decor.
