We had lunch at Miguel's and fell in love with the tasty authentic Mexican options so we decided to go back for dinner. The pork belly tacos were scrumptious and the tamales were delicious. Don't miss the millionaire margarita but beware of the tequila at the bottom of the glass!

I ate here back in November while in town for the annual Neuroscience conference. I was staying at a motel down the street and looking for something nearby, reasonably priced, and with good reviews. Miguel's fit all three so I had dinner here and enjoyed it enough that I returned again the next night. The chips and salsa/queso that you're... More

My family was visiting the Cabrollo National Monument nearby and at the last minute we decided to come to this restaurant. The decor was warm and friendly and they had a fire in the fireplace. The food was really good. My son-in-law had trace tacos and we're all good except the beef which he said was tough. We ordered a... More

I lived in San Diego for years and passed by Miguel's almost every day but never ate there. There were so many cheap mall and pop Mexican restaurants that I was eating at I just never got the chance and it never seem to appeal to be for whatever reason. Well I was proven wrong the atmosphere is very good... More

Open Christmas Eve -- it was a very cool evening and we sat up on the porch area. They had screens and heaters to keep the area warm but was still a bit chilly. Loved the atmosphere. Food was very good.

We ordered the Miguel's sampler as take out to split and it was enough for both of us. We did not check our food until we got back to the room and we did not get the ceviche it was supposed to have but that's on us for not checking .

Great location and romantic-to-fun atmosphere but being a small chain it suffers from "chain food". I highly do not recommend anything with their weird grilled chicken which comes in strange little yellow morsels. I had a delicious Blue Corn Enchilada which was one of their specials that day but the following day we were very disappointed by an overpriced Chicken... More

Locals suggested Miguel's for Mexican food and it seems to be a really popular spot. The food was not as spicy as we like, but there are a lot of really interesting menu choices, all covered in a lot of cheese! Great staff--very attentive to needs!

The fish tacos are sooooo good. Together with beer and it can't get any better. Lots of food for the price, at least with Point Loma standards. Service was kind, honest and effective. Can't wait to come back!

I came here with a date on a busy Friday night. We got a table upstairs pretty quickly. The waitress was very attentive. We got our beverages and chips/salsa/cheese dip promptly. I ordered the pork belly tacos which were really good and different from your usual taco, but in a great way. I recommend them. My date had a fish... More
