A group of six of us were walking Gaslamp and just happen to see an A shaped sign on the sidewalk which advertised oysters for $1 each on Sundays. Three in our group love oysters and the other thing was it was Sunday evening, so...More

Oceanaire knows how to make good seafood. Nice atmosphere, very pricey but it’s good quality food. Amazing crab cakes! Not the best steaks, but that’s probably because they specialize in seafood lol. Also have to give props to their valet staff, we saw them stop...More

Fancy place with modern decor and luxury ambiance. Very nice, knowledgable and attentive waiters. The menu pretty much consists of seafood, (no vegetarian options). The food was good, not too formal ambiance, it allows for some conversation. Great for a business dinner although predictably overpriced.

The service was pleasant but not perfect. To my mind , you don’t remove plates until everyone is finished a course. The calamari was disappointing. The other dishes were pleasant . The asparagus was large and woody. The food does not merit the prices charged.
