As I pulled to the cafe that I have passed by hundreds of times, a big sign said, "best breakfast in town". I'm calling shananigans on that claim. The breakfast is mediocre at best. I ordered the waffle with bacon and eggs. The waffle was decent but the bacon was like an ironed piece of beef jerky. There's no wifi... More

We found this nice american diner between LA and San Diego. It was perfectly situated on our way to the south. Tipical US diner, do not expect low carb... it is "us style" of breakfast. Waiters are very friendly and the food is really good. Probably to much fat, in my centrsl european eyes, but try and get your own... More

Perry's does breakfast, and they do it well. Good coffee, fast service, and good food in large portions. Some potions are actually too large for me. The over medium fried eggs were perfect.

Stopped in just after the lunch rush and the dining area was still busy. I had intended to go in for a cafe burger and fries but the sandwich board as I walked in teased me with the special. Roast beef and all the fixings. I hated to waver from my initial craving but having eaten here before I thought... More

This place reminded me of something out of the '50s when I walked in. And the menu fits right in! Lots and lots of breakfast choices and a short selection of sandwiches. My eggs were cooked perfectly but the highlight was the thin, plate-sized waffle. My companion thoroughly enjoyed his Reuben sandwich. Prices are reasonable and the service was wonderful.... More

The service is speedy and pleasant. The food is tasty and plentiful. We've been eating here for the past few years, each time we visit San Diego. I recommend going on a weekday between breakfast and lunch to avoid crowds (although people watching during the Sunday crowds can be interesting). You also might want to consider sharing a meal. The... More

This is a hidden gem very close to the airport. If you've landed in the morning or have a mid-morning flight, this is the place for you! Friendly, fast, & delicious. Standard American and Mexican fare.

I love club sandwiches, and I measure all others against this one. It's the best! Thank you Perry's. I'll be back.

Place was packed - its a whole in the wall, kinda dirty place but they are cranking out the eats. Our waitress was super funny and entertaining, without even trying to be, its just the nature of the place. I'll come back. Its fun and affordable. You get what you pay for, which is quantity, and fast. Thanks Perry's Cafe... More

Saturday brunch- place was hopping- service was quick and efficient. Place was clean but extremely old- could use a coat of paint. Food was plentiful, muffin was fresh and steamingly delicious. $30 for a complete breakfast for 2 with oj and coffee- very reasonable. Stop by and give them a try.
