Stopped in with friends and had good food and a fun time. The bartender was ok.. not overly friendly, and I found it odd that they didn't have the Cajun Martini printed in big letters on the mirror because it wasn't good... Come up with a new 'Cajun Martini' already.... Their bar has a minimal selection of alcohol choices, but... More

My regular place to eat when I'm in town. Menu changes daily with seasonal specials. Crusted white fish (nut-crusted or parm-crusted) such as halibut or sea bass is filling and flavorful despite smaller-sized pieces. Not extra thrilled with chowder, but a couple salads are great (roasted beet and spring leaf w/grape tomatoes & avocado). Service is great. Nice outdoor seating... More

Really delicious huge shrimp! There was a a small piece of a screwer left on one, and the server was very apologetic and the manager treated us to a divine piece of key lime pie. Service and food that is much better than the ratings portray.

My wife and I went to the Mission Valley again to eat at the King's Fish House Restaurant. Steve K. our server was so Bubbly and Nice as he brought us some fresh baked bread to enjoy, and answered all of our questions as he hustled around the restaurant serving many tables. The King's Fish House menu has changed a... More

Title says it all. Didn't know halibut could taste that good. A little on the expensive side but, well worth it.

This was the first restaurant we dined at when we arrived. My husband chose it and I had not looked at the reviews! We were all pleasantly surprised and very pleased with the food! Everything was delicious! The service was good and the atmosphere was nice! They have a very large 11 pound lobster in the case which is amazing!

After not dining at King's for a number of years, we returned recently and were pleasantly surprised that the quality of the food had improved significantly and the prices, which used to be on the high side compared to competitive restaurants, are now comparable. The inside can get noisy but the covered patio with heaters is usually comfortable and a... More

Scrumptious halibut & salmon with tasty sides. Attentive service made for a memorable dining experience. And the key lime pie was wonderful.

We were searching for a better-than-fast-food but casual restaurant for a quick dinner. King's Fish House was close by so we decided to take a chance and it was a good find. Our service was good, and the staff was friendly and helpful. They answered our questions efficiently--yeah, we're that kind of diner--without hesitation. Food was good, not exceptional, but... We found King's not far from our Mission Valley hotel on a cold and wet Winter evening, and are very glad we did. On a quiet night the hospitality was welcoming and the service was both personable and efficient. When she learned that we were splitting the beet salad our server said she would have it split between two plates... More
