Met co-workers for a girls night out/birthday dinner to catch-up. We always have a great time at this location. We work in the Time & Life building on 50th & 6th, where there is a Capital Grille location downstairs, but we prefer this location for...More

Had lunch at this popular mid-town restaurant...the atmosphere is pleasant enough but I found the wait staff a bit curt and for the prices I felt rushed. The food is good, but nothing special for the prices. I had the wedge salad with blue cheese...More

Capital Grille is terrific. Great for business or romance. Main dining room is quiet with well-spaced tables. The barroom is loud, raucous and manly. The food is really, really good. They serve wonderful fired calamari and hot peppers and a really good shrimp and garlic...More

Being as the menu does not mention prices. How much on average is a meal for two with beverages?

My husband and I are travelling to NYC for our 25th Anniversary in Mid October. I am planning a special night out at the Capital Grille and want to purchase a gift card ahead of time and give it to him as a gift. Can anyone give me an idea of the cost of a bottle of wine? I know some are more than others. I love the Sonoma-Cutrer Chardonnay and of course a Cabernet. Thank you!
