During our 4 day trip in New York we passed here twice. The first time we went for cocktails during happy hour. The cocktails were very good. The second time we had lunch here. It was nice to have a healthy meal after all the fast food we had the previous days. The waitress was very friendly. She suggested some... More

This place was a nice quick stop for a pastry. The aesthetics of the place was awesome. Rebar wine racks were a industrial look and smart idea. Pastries were great and service was friendly.

Found this spot near where I was staying for a quick NYC visit, and went there for breakfast every day on my trip. Good coffee, great breakfast, and great healthy and vegetarian options too. Try the "whole bowls," so delicious. Service was wonderful and really friendly - no aloof vibe here, just nice people.

Delicious breakfast. The bread (baked here): proper heavy substantial bread, like you don't see these days often anymore. What a find. Very nice people. Good atmosphere. Good tunes. Great spot. Very positively impressed.

It was pouring rain yesterday. Oro provided a nice respite from the dreary weather. It's a charming and intimate little spot to have a beverage or some food.

Aussies looking for coffee go here! In Nolita area and incredible- I usually like a strong latte and they sorted me out beautifully. Did not have a better coffee in NYC- including Per Se, Eleven Madison etc. they also do a nice little brekky like an egg white omelette or pastries. Highly recommend. There was supposed to be an Aussie... More

This is a quiet, narrow bar that sits right on the edge of the shrinking district of Little Italy. We sat on little Miss Muffett stools that are placed around some small wooden tables, and recuperated from our touring with a refreshing coffee and a tasty sandwich. A pleasant, cozy venue for a light breakfast or lunch.

This tiny little bakery/bar (we were there in the morning) has a European feel. Breakfast menu had interesting combinations and options and all of our choices were delicious. Food was very fresh.I'd go back!

Staying in Chinatown

Neighbourhood Profile
Bursting with an amazing array of sights, sounds, and smells on every block, a visit to Chinatown feels like entering a different world. It’s a colorful spectacle that gets even more crowded on weekends, when families stream in to enjoy huge dim sum feasts and to stock up at the markets on Mott Street. To take a break from the buzz, grab something sweet from one of the many bakeries in the area and head to Columbus Park, where many Chinatown residents exercise, play games, and chat the day away.
