Buceo 95 is nestled between Amsterdam and Broadway on 95th st. Given traffic flow and the residential aura of the block, people would have little reason to pass by. Once you get past this mistake and find you way past the red door you will be treated to an UWS local gem. Nick the sommelier will guide you through the... More

My friend and I stopped by after the theater recently around 11:00 pm on a Saturday night for drinks and a light meal. The kitchen was open until midnight so we had plenty of time to make selections. We chose the blistered green peppers which are fabulous and a favorite. Also had the calamari with squid ink rice, and the... More

We shared several small plates and tried a few different margaritas. Everything was wonderful! And, thanks to the server's advice, we were able to order complimenting foods and left very full & happy.

This place was pretty much opposite where we were staying. We were trying to work out what to do for dinner and thought we'd give this place a shot. It's not huge and was quite busy for a Thursday night. We were lucky to get a table though and proceeded to order 5 tapas dishes between two and a beer... More

After reading good reviews, we decided upon Buceo95. They offer a great selection of excellent small plates such as brussel sprouts, meatballs and even salty/spicy chips! We have been to Spain several times and Buceo 95 does an excellent job of authenticating the style and taste! We sat in the dining area for dinner, but the bar looked to be... More

We had a quartino of the Riesling, Brussels sprouts, garlic shrimp, and bacon wrapped dates as our meal. All were delicious. Nice energetic vibe. We had churros and decaf coffee for dessert-excellent!

Of any tapas restaurant we've been to in New York, the small plate servings at Buceo 95 are the closest to the food that delighted us in Spain. The flavors are bold and simple, relying on the high quality of the food itself and the deft skills of the chef to provide a delicious meal. Our server had good familiarity... More

We have lived in the neighborhood for 2 years and finally got to this cute little spot, after reading some good reviews. The food and service did not disappoint - it's all small plates. We had grilled asparagus, fennel salad, grilled octopus, skirt steak (by far my favorite!) and pork. The pork was just OK, hard to jazz up the... More

Barcelona off of Broadway...a hangout that still encompasses the low key, comfy vibe of the neighborhood but has the chic décor and forward thinking cuisine of a downtown trendsetter." Close your eyes and you think you're in Spain, many Spaniards and locals exclaim. The amazing tapas, reasonably priced wine list and warm staff will keep you returning to this Iberian find without the jet lag!
