We went there last night for dinner and had excellent appetizers and salads. The homemade Cacio e Pepio was delicious as was the Pappadelle with Lamb Ragu. Would definitely go back again.

We came for dinner. We shared the gameberi for antipasti. It was good but the bread it came with was partly burned. We came for the cacio e pepe and was disappointed at how salty it was. There was too much simply too much pecorino for me. However, the pudding is excellent. I would definitely come back for the pudding... More

Food was very good. If you love parm cheese, the Cacio de Pepe is delicious. I had a spicy tequila cocktail - excellent. Good wine list. Staff is friendly and helpful. Nicole was our server this time around; she was marvelous. Will visit again.

we went for restaurant week, and the best tasting thing here was the sauce/dip they gave for the bread. the bread was bland and felt undercooked/baked, the crab cakes were bland, the pasta and the porchetta was bland, and the dessert was bland too. they gave good refills of the sauce/dip though, so we dipped everything in it.

A nice find, one you should too. Most dishes featured the expected ingredients though many had a twist: carpaccio with apple-celery, beet-goat cheese ravioli with fennel/orange/brown butter, and an amazing basil panna cotta. The lamb ragu and nutella dessert are excellent. Great atmosphere and wonderful service make it a place I'd go back to.

Service and food were very good. Went on a Monday night and the place was decently crowded. Ingredients are perfectly fresh and portions and just the right size. Can't say anything bad about the food. The first drink I ordered was the Diablo. It was delicious and not overbearingly spicy. The second one I ordered though was way to strong... More

You could walk past it a number of times and not notice it as that's what happened to me. There 12 years and run by terrific Roman owners at a great guy behind the bar named Johnny. I sat at the bar and had a very nice evening.

What a treasure this restaurant was! The staff was excellent and very obliging and the food was extremely delicious. It was a fixed price turkey day menu and had a bit of an Italian flair that was so yummy! My mother and I had taken my daughter who is a student at FIT here for the holiday and we could... More

We visited Bocca on the recommendation of our hotel Concierge. Upon arriving we were warmly greeted and served Proseco. We had an amazing meal and at the end the owner brought us some Limoncello and gave us his card. I will definitely return and tell my friends to go here. Very authentic italian in a cozy atmosphere!

We were in the Union Square area and decided to stop in on a Thursday night, when other restaurants in the area had a 30-45 mins. wait. Here we just walked in. the hostess, server, busser and manager were all very friendly and attentive. The kitchen was setting records with how fast they served! The olive oil, tomato dipping sauce... Staying in Flatiron District

Neighbourhood Profile
Flatiron District
Offering many of city’s best restaurants and shops set amid classic New York architecture, the Flatiron District is no longer under the tourist radar. At 23rd Street is the famous triangular Flatiron Building, which makes a good picture no matter what angle you photograph it from. Be sure to look up at the elegant architecture as you stroll the streets- much of this neighborhood is part of a historic district that was home to many of the city’s most famous department stores at the turn of the century. At the northern end of the neighbourhood, Madison Square Park is best known for being the home of a famous burger shack, but it can also be a quiet refuge to spend an afternoon, and it frequently hosts interesting public art exhibits. In the lower part of the Flatiron District you'll find Union Square, a bustling crossroads at all times of day and night.
