We came here with a group and enjoyed a set menu with a few choices. Caesar salad and mixed field greens were both good first course selections. Filet of sole marechiare was a very good entree. Both the cheesecake and the tiramisu were delicious. Good coffee was served.

We were staying at the Fitzpatrick Grand Central Hotel just one block away and the front desk clerk recommended Piccolo Fiore. Excellent choice. Excellent, excellent food. Impeccable service. Moderately priced (for New York City). The tables are not right on top of each other like in so many NYC restaurants. We never felt rushed like in so many NYC restaurants.... More

We stopped in late after checking into our hotel just down the street. What a great restaurant. Super fresh pasta, very very good food. It was our first time visiting the city and honestly people's horror stories of prices scared me a bit going into our trip. Piccolo did not fit that stereotype! Great food and good prices. We had... This restaurant is a little gem tucked away on 44th street between 3rd and 2nd Avenue in NYC. Great food, nice, relaxed atmosphere and reasonable prices. 3 blocks from Grand Central, but removed from the crowds. Sip a glass of wine or cocktail. Try the crabcakes or the calamari for an antipasto. Enjoy a tricolor salad. Then have the rigatoni... More

After an all-day meeting, some of my workers met for dinner. The restaurant front is unassuming and like many NY restaurants, you descend from the street. Hostess was pleasant and cordial. We were seated right away and offered water and cocktails. Good selection of wines and the bar was fully stocked. One coworker enjoyed a Khalua and creme which was... More

I've been to this restaurant many times, every time I have visited NYC Will not be bothering again We arrived and stood like lemons for what felt like a year. No interaction with any staff despite them seeing us standing there We were seated by a somewhat silent waiter then left us to sit there again without another word or... More

I am so sad!! This used to be one of my favourite restaurants. Went there last night 3rd sept!! One waiter working and a man in a polo shirt. We waited 5 minutes before anyone wanted to even seat us. Were greeted by an unfriendly and unhelpful waiter. Atmosphere was similar to that of a morgue!! No music, no service,... More

I recently went to Piccolo Fiore for lunch with a friend, after not having been there for some time. I was surprised that we were the only ines eating there; perhaps this was because of the scaffolding covering the building where the restaurant is and the construction work around it. Hopefully the works will be completed soon as the noise... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
