After a late exhibition/lecture across the street, my wife and I wanted a decent meal in a comfortable place nearby -- we found it at Frankie & Johnnie's 37th St. location. Steps up and then three steps down reminded me this is not an accessible restaurant. My wife had their signature cheeseburger, which came with both fries and onion rings... More

One o fthe more well known decades old steak houses in manhattan has nice setting. The food is average and not as good as several other steakhouses with less tradition, but much better food. For the quality, it is overpriced

We visited this restaurant on our last night in New York - it is not to be confused or compared with Franky and Bennies! It's a beautiful restaurant, we hadn't booked and were seated in the bar area. The atmosphere was brilliant and the staff fantastic. We had Manalo serving us and a very engaging and entertaining Danny behind the... More

My husband wanted a steak and this restaurant was across the street from out hotel. Sadly we were exhausted from our busy day and didn't go to the hotel to change before our meal. We were in jeans and leggings and felt out of place. The prices are typical for an upscale steak house and our food was very good.... More

For a busy Saturday night at Christmas time, we were able to find 2 seats at the bar. Bartender wasn't overly friendly but he looked super busy. Had a bicardi and coke or I should say bicardi with a splash of coke. Don't mind paying $15 a drink when it's made good. Knew things would be expensive. Not a big... More

We had an excellent meal there on our firsat evening. It is a bit expensive but very smart and service was impeccable. Very welcoming staff. Obviously popular with business people.

Had the Pixie lunch plate. Salad, Petite Filet, mashed potatoes, grilled veggies. Topped off with coffee and a choice of gelato or Key Lime pie. Wonderful lunch in the city. Delicious

Our concierge at the Archer Hotel set us up with a reservation here before an event at MSG and we had a delightful meal. On this trip our eyes were bigger than our stomachs, so we just had entrees and cocktails. I had the surf and turf and my husband had the 12oz filet (which was TOO much food) with... More

We visited earlier this week having read good reviews and the fact that the restaurant was very close to Marriott Pulse where we were staying. Big portion sizes that we struggled to finish but very good food. I had the liver which was excellent. Tip would be do not fill up too much on the starter.

Three of us dined here early before an evening event. We were staying opposite at the Springhill Apartments, so it was very convenient. I loved the old fashioned decor and service. The waiters were excellent, informative and friendly. I chose Lobster Ravioli with Pink Tomato Sauce Flavoured with Vodka, which was delicious, along with a bottle of wine! I'll happily... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
