Everything we ate was delicious! The lamb kebab was succulent and perfectly cooked. They only use New Zealand and Australian lamb and you can taste the difference. The stuffed cabbage with tomato sauce and yogurt tasted homemade -- so flavorful. The salad was fresh, crisp and plentiful. The feta was different than what you normally get -- more subtle and... NYC has thousands of restaurants. Every culture, ethnicity and regional cuisine you could wish. "Sevens" is a Turkish/Mediterranean grill that could be lost in the overwhelming opportunities for dining. We discovered it as a convenience for dinner prior to an Off Broadway show in the Triad Theater -- which is just above the restaurant. The variety of dishes and the... More

We went there with Turkish friends. The kabobs were incredibly good, as were the "cigars." The service was good, the ambiance lovely, and the food was good. We will go back there when we are in the neighborhood.

We've been to Seven several times. It's a great local resturant with consistently good food and good service. Turkish food is a great change from the many Chinese, Italian and Japanese neighborhood places. The portions are abundant and food well prepared.

I made a reservation online, got an immediate "reservation accepted" for early on a Saturday night since we were taking a friend from out of town to the Met and this was convenient, reasonable and sounded like fun. I'd gotten a voucher from ScoutMob and have used them 4 or 5 times with no problem and all the restaurants they've... More

Staying in Upper East Side

Neighbourhood Profile
Upper East Side
Combining quiet residential neighbourhoods that have easy access to Central Park with world-famous cultural institutions, the Upper East Side is one of the most livable places in the city. Along beautiful Fifth Avenue, you’ll find Museum Mile, which houses many of the nation's most famous attractions in a single stretch, like The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Guggenheim Museum. Walk a few blocks into the neighbourhood, and you’ll come to Park Avenue, the poshest address in the city, lined with grand apartment buildings as far as the eye can see. Even if you can’t afford the luxury goods along Madison Avenue, it’s still a great spot to window shop an afternoon away.
