First and foremost, the decor is very pleasing and the seating is spacious, unlike many Indian restaurants where...More

The service was slow. The pickle was fantastic and the paladins had a great flavor to them. I ordered a spicy lamb vindaloo and was surprised that it was just a spicy red sauce with lamb meat. Don’t get me wrong, it was yummy and...More

We chose this restaurant as it was very close to our hotel and Indian being our favourite food. The waiter George was so friendly and helpful. Being jet lagged we opted for main courses only as we were very tired. The food all arrived freshly...More

One of the finest Indian restaurants in Midtown Manhattan, Nirvana offers a unique and delectable Indian dining experience. Just a short walk from Grant Central, Nirvana frequently welcomes United Nations dignitaries and other high-profile clientele. Nirvana has a sleek, stylish interior design, highlighted by the exceptional Skylight Gallery Dining Room on the 2nd floor. The exposed brick walls and exotic aromas of Indian cuisine easily inspire a romantic dining atmosphere. The warm and welcoming lounge is a comfortable area in which to enjoy a pre or post-dinner drink from the bar, whilst relaxing in the enticing leather couches by the fireplace. Classic Indian dishes such as Chicken Tikka Masala are available, alongside the chef's irresistible signature creations. These include the Rabbit Fiesta - a hearty Rabbit Stew with chilli, peas and chutney - as well as light Vegetable Samosas and Chicken Stir Fry.
