Stumbled across this place by accident after walking to the Friends building. Lots of beers on tap and great friendly service from all the staff. Would definitely recommend.

This bar is a staple in the West Village. I have been several time now and every time i go i am surprised at the selection of great beer from all around the country. I really like that when i go into this place i can ask any question about their beer selection and the staff is always familiar with... More

Great west village standby for a excellent selection of top notch craft beers. Tasty snacks, too. No liquor. An awesome fireplace for when the weather's cold, wonderful farmhouse windows for when it's mild outside. Friendly, fun, mixed and typically youngish crowd. Great place for a session

If we lived in NY this would be our go to bar. Great beer selection and food. We had a couple of brews after a huge snow storm and sat by the toasty fireplace.

My husband and I stumbled upon this place last fall on a very hot afternoon. The beer selection is fantastic and the service was laid back and very friendly. It's the kind of place we love in Seattle and would be regulars if we lived in NY. A great place to sip beer and people watch. Looking forward to going... More

This is a fun spot with surprisingly good food. Amazing selection of beers. I tried the kale salad and I have to say it's the best I've had thus far in NYC. Full of flavor not overly heavy with dressing. Next time I will get grilled chicken on top. I had an order of their wings but was not impressed.... More

So happy we found this place. We came after a Ranger game. Crowd looked like regulars, but the bartender welcomed us right away! We had the wings - they were great. Stayed for couple of hours and enjoyed the fireplace and the many beers on tap. Nice place for conversation and a late night drink! We will be back!

Read about this place online and decided to seek it out. There was a choice of 30 different craft lines ranging from 4-11% abv. Absolute great choice. $1 off draught beer mon-fri daytimes. Couldn't try everything even tho we wanted to! A must for beer lovers!

I have been visiting the Blind Tiger Ale House since the days when it was located on Hudson Street many years ago. During my most recent visit to the current location on Bleecker Street, there were 28 craft beers on tap, with 19 of them from excellent micro-breweries in the Northeast, as well as several quality brews from California, Maryland,... We were stumbling around the Village looking for a place to eat and came across Bind Tiger. As others have said great beer selection. need to get back to try more. Not many seats. We just beat the rush. Despite being busy service was prompt and friendly. We did eat. I had a French Dip w/ Bloody Mary Mix. cool... More

Neighbourhood Profile
West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the West Village is one of the city’s most coveted addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture, this neighbourhood has a unique old-world feel. You won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan. Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you stroll down elegant narrow streets with beautiful brownstones. When you need a break, you can always stop in at one of the many quaint eateries or cafes to soak in the atmosphere, or head to the western edge of the neighborhood to enjoy magnificent waterfront views while taking a leisurely walk in Hudson River Park.
