Alloro has been in the neighborhood for over six years. We began eating there a few months ago. They serve the classics and have a separate page for more exciting dishes (we like this page best!). The food is very good and the service is...More

My family and I visited Alloro for a birthday celebration. The food is amazing and the staff is attentive but not hovering. The meatball appetizer is delicious. The Bucatini is amazing - we shared a half portion as an appetizer.

The upper east side is not the most diverse crowd I've seen. It is not where you go because you are interested in meeting all different kinds of people. It's like the "connecticut" of Manhattan. The kind of people who complain about the "spicy" food...More

A neighborhood gem. On a quiet Sunday night we had an excellent meal with great service. This is not your spaghetti and meatballs restaurant. Worth the extra money. We are going back soon.

A lovely restaurant. Sitting within the residential east side of NYC. We found it on website for NY restaurant week. Great food but from the moment we sat down we were so rushed. Why participate in Restuarant week when you rush guests using the fixed...More
