Sometimes you hit a good restaurant on a bad night and I assume this is what happened to us. The food was very good but they obviously had issues in the kitchen because we waited for about 70 minutes for our main course. Not acceptable. There was an attempt at an apology but the wait time spoiled what would have... More

Service was very good, however several in our group ordered house special steak, very tough . I had the osso bucco, chewy, not tender, disappointing. The appetizers were good, calamari, seafood tower

We LOVE quaint little "Frank Sinatra" type Italian restaurants, and we found one here! We timed our visit so the folks attending Broadway shows would had already headed out and found this little gem almost empty. The music, the atmosphere, everything is beautiful. We started with a nice Pinot Noir, it was nicely priced and wonderful. My wife had the... More

We visited this restaurant as it was walking distance from our hotel the Riu. We were a family of 4 two adults and two children aged 10 & 12. The service was ok but not amazing. My husband ordered the New York strip for 37 dollars! When it arrived 80% of it was fat and not edible, it came with... More

This is a great place in the theatre district. It is a nice room and wasn't at all busy when we dined. The menu is extensive and offers a wide variety of Italian dishes. We were served bruschetta and bread immediately. The bread was stale. I ordered the pasta e fagioli and my wife had the chick pea and pasta... More

While staying in NYC overnight we literally stumbled upon this gem while walking. We felt as if we had been transported back to the 1940's. Good food, quiet, quaint atmosphere. My husband said it was the best rack of lamb he had ever eaten. Food was excellent!

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
