Maybe not completely authentic Persian food, but it was good. However, it was a little expensive....

We eat here (and order) rather often. Its a good neighborhood staple. The kebabs are well marinated and juicy, we order the Jujeh and Bargh kebabs. The stuffed pepper is really good too!

I and my friends were wondering where to eat tonight and we walk on First Ave and passed several restaurants. The Sushi place next door had a waiting crowd. This restaurant was full, but did not have a waiting line so we went in. I'm glad we did. It was late at night and we were not too hungry so... More

Yes even the seven year old ate almost a whole piece of grilled chicken and there soft bread is amazing. The salad was good with lots of veggies. the French fries were great but have black pepper so if you don't like black pepper don't order French fries. They also have baklava my favorite dessert.

Strongly recommend on the mix Kabab (beef&chiken). Also try the persian ghorme sabzi- which is great for cold weather. Service is good and prices are decent👍.

Delicious meals. The rice and the maroon spice really make the dishes special! I think the spice is sumac. Either way it is great! Saffron ice cream is delicious!

Lots of different menu items - many of which I have rarely, if ever, seen before. We went as a large family group. Everyone really enjoyed their meal. Service was excellent.

Staying in Upper East Side

Neighbourhood Profile
Upper East Side
Combining quiet residential neighbourhoods that have easy access to Central Park with world-famous cultural institutions, the Upper East Side is one of the most livable places in the city. Along beautiful Fifth Avenue, you’ll find Museum Mile, which houses many of the nation's most famous attractions in a single stretch, like The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Guggenheim Museum. Walk a few blocks into the neighbourhood, and you’ll come to Park Avenue, the poshest address in the city, lined with grand apartment buildings as far as the eye can see. Even if you can’t afford the luxury goods along Madison Avenue, it’s still a great spot to window shop an afternoon away.
