classical Italian/fish restaurant and it is professionally run: the service and the food are good and efficient; I had better risotto but the squid is really good; wine list is what you expect, the lunch menu is good value (57$).

Marea was beautifully located just off Central Park, serving delicious Italian food and wine to grateful travellers. We had the set menu of 4 courses for $100 and thought it a bargain. Great flavours and ideas with a rustic touch.

This is an excellent restaurant. The fact it is an Italian seafood restaurant is secondary. Beautiful room, great service, excellent wine list, great location. Pricey but worth every dollar. .

Dined solo at the bar (which is open for drop-ins. Had three antipasti dishes (tuna, octopus and tuna belly) then followed with a spicy crab lump pasta. The service at the bar (by Sam) was very friendly.
