went in here the first evening we were in New York. We were too tired to travel too far, but it was worth a visit anyway.

My friends and I went back home to NYC after being gone for several years. My friend was really in the mood for some really good crepes so we'd look for a French restaurant, but time got the better of us. It was a really hot, humid June day, we stopped to take a break, looked up and saw Cafe... More

Got our order wrong and wanted to pick a fight over it while the actual food quality was ok but for the price paid nothing more than average.

Arrived at about 7pm looking for a light meal. I'd had breakfast here before and wanted to try it in the evening. The cafe wasn't particularly busy with perhaps 6 of 40 tables in use. The at-table menu isn't huge - salads, omelettes and savoury crepes stood out, though a selection of deserts were also on offer, as was anything... More

Thought the options on the menu board was a broad spectrum. Only had a coffee and cake but was okay. Only one problem was the cleanliness of the rest room facilities which had urine all over the seat and floor and my partner heaved when she went into toilet. Other than that it was good.

Stumbled on Europa looking for a late breakfast and coffee. Wasn't disappointed. The coffee and bagels were really good (and very reasonable). The sandwiches and paninis (not to mention the brownies) looked amazing and I hope to return. Very clean and friendly dining room.

All of the Europa Cafes in Manhattan are fairly uniform. Consistent experience regardless of which one you go to.

When you are looking for a great, inexpensive breakfast this place is a great place to go. On the weekends, every place is slammed in NYC but it is easy to get food and find a table fast here because the staff is efficient and fast. The food is good (you can get omelets, eggs, bacon, potatoes, pastries, etc.). There... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
