The Manhattan branch of Defonte's is out of business,because the building was condemned. It was great while it was there. The original Brooklyn branch is still open.

Any sandwich you have will make you sing...the bread is out f this world... I love this place. This is a neighborhood place that been here forever..it's a shame they don't go national...

IF you like stuffed sandwiches that put even fried in your product this is it. You can hardly eat it all and they have some awesome products for sale oriented towards italian of course.

Like any place in the world, you should always be aware of your surroundings. Where you will be is absolutely fine. 25 years ago, maybe not. If you pass Defontes it starts to get bad but its still not so bad on the dsy time.

Hi, it's really just a sandwich shop that's meant for pick up,there's like two seats in there and people don't usually eat in there.If I were you I'd go there and bring the sandwiches back to your aunts house and eat them... More

Surely, so for starters what time do you anticipate getting to Defontes? Heres a tip...they cater to city workers, truck drivers etc... so tgey have early hours and close early. Dont expect to go there after 3 pm but... More
