Love the extensive beer list. Haven't eaten here, so can't comment on the food, but everything coming out looks great. Best background music in a bar I've heard in a long time. Attentive bar staff. Great location, laid back. Love it.

We popped into this place for lunch on a whim looking for a quick bite and a beer. The menu is very limited but we both enjoyed our burgers so what they do, they do well. The beer selection is just OK for a place named The Half Pint but it was cold so no complaints there either. For good... More

It's a bit of a tradition now for us to come to the Half Pint having stumbled across it a few years ago, we know go out of our way to come for lunch. Friendly and with good pub style food, lots of students enjoying brunch which makes for a buzzy atmosphere. Good selection of beers and they even put... More

While I was in the area I came here for some food and a couple of beers. The staff were very helpful and friendly, suggesting beers to suit my tastes. They do food but the menu isn't extensive. What is available is good though.

Came here on a whim and was not disappointed. Great ambient volume for conversations, well lit, clean enough bathrooms. Recommending the Red ale. This is a pub - don't feel obligated to get a cocktail.

Stopped at this place late for some drinks. When we got here, we were quickly told that the kitchen was closed and we could not order food. After we got our drinks, the server came back to tell us we could order food. Seemed strange but we took it up since we were all quite famished after walking the Brooklyn... More

Found it walking through town on the way to Battery Park, aimed for it on the way back. Beers galore, fantastic menu and the staff, especially the Polish girl behind the bar (hardly a hint of Polish, thought she was from Brooklyn), were brilliant. As a fussy veggie in New York I found the 'build your own' sandwich a God... More

...so basically what you want in a good pub. Lots of students, so this is not the place to go for a quiet chat. But if you want a really good selection of craft beers on tap, decent U.S. pub food, and good service -- the wait staff was great despite a busy evening -- this is the place for... More
