George's was an adorable restaurant with a diverse menu. Immediately upon walking into the establishment we were greeted warmly and ushered to a table. Service was friendly, quick, and food was good.

So we went here for breakfast. We got a table fast and then the wait started. After ordering we got almost what we ordered..... By toast was almost burned and eggs were almost ready when served. The service did not listen so much and to summerize this did not live up to it good grades on Tripaadvicer

My husband and I were recommended to George's Diner by the doorman at the Ritz Carlton Battery Park. George's is casual, compact and cozy! The menu was extensive, even for a classic diner. We had breakfast omelette specials, which came with homefries, toast, coffee and juice shots. All for $11.99! Prices were reasonable. The service was very friendly. I would... More

Located right in the heart of the financial district, Georges has been serving business and visitor alike since the 50's. Great menu. HUGE selection. Food was very good and served quickly. Interior is simple but fun. Multiple floors up and down. A quick walk to the 911 Memorial, Wall Streeet, Trinity Church as well as Battery Park and surrounding attractions.... More

We had our first breakfast in NYC in George's restaurant. It did not disappoint and the service was excellent and friendly. I had the omelette ( Med) and I can now say it is the best omelette I tasted while I was there. My partner had the eggs and grits and loved it. Good atmosphere and well worth a visit

Ate breakfast twice at this breakfast and lunch place near the 911 Memorial. Very busy but they move people in and out quickly with very fast service. The weekday specials include coffee which is only priced at $2. The eggs and pancakes are very good and the prices are OK for NYC.

Sorry Georges. Perhaps we came on an off day. I normally don't bother writing bad reviews... Our taxi and hotel recommended Georges, so we went for breakfast. One of our worst meals in New York for sure. The coffee / cappuccino had cinnamon on top. The meals were, at best dull and boring. Very 2 star. We didn't go back.... More

During a recent visit to NYC (my home town) we visited this restaurant. It was a Sunday morning and there was a 9/11 fund raising marathon going on, so although it was crowded, according to the hostess, it was not as crowded as it usually gets. The hostess was so sweet and efficient and she kept things running smoothly. The menu... More

We finished at the 9/11 Museum around 2pm and we were starving. We were walking towards Battery Park and stumbled upon George's. The menu is a fantastic mash up of breakfast and all sorts of sandwiches and burgers. I got a bacon and egg sandwich and sweet potato fries. Everything was really good!

We were a group of 10 who had just dropped our son off to meet his group to ride the Ferry over to Ellis Island looking for a great brunch spot as some people wanted lunch others wanted breakfast. Well, George's had it all AND we did not have to wait too long to be seated. We sat on the... More
